Before Laura, my website was just a fumbled mess of a “this will do” effort mixed in with a “let’s google this and learn as we go” kinda approach. There were many pain points that impacted a customer’s buying experience, inconsistencies that needed fixing, the navigation was in shambles and you best believe the categories/collections were not being utilised effectively. Aaand let’s not get started on my product descriptions (sorry, what’s SEO?)
I needed a website wizard who could understand my ADHD brain, see the vision I was going for and turn my clusterf*ck of a website into something incredible. Something to be proud of. Something that really represented me and what my business had to offer. Without Obscurio & Co, Candy & Kitsch wouldn’t be what it is today.
It was such an experience to see all my hard work over the years properly captured and on display for all to see. I feel like a ~real~ business, and I get a kick out of visiting my own website (especially on the days where the imposter syndrome is hitting harddd).
