Merry Kitschmas: A StrangeGoods x Stash World collab

As a fellow lover of all things vintage and kitsch, I was so thrilled when Jessie of Stash World reached out to be a part of the December “Kitschmas” release for sticker club. A Brisbane stationery icon, Stash collabs with different artists every month (on a unique theme) to create glorious adhesive goods.

While I do have some greeting cards stocked in Stash World, this project was my first time working under the StrangeGoods moniker and I had so much fun coming up with some unique sticker designs that felt very me…  and also embraced the clutter, kitschy vibe of the theme.

Inline with a Christmas drop, we decided to turn my chaotic collages into gift tags that were perfect to label presents with. In a world of red and green, why not be tropical pinks and blues? I loved that Jessie gave me the freedom to create something a little different then the usual sticker sheet and I loved using them for my own gifts!
Over a bold colourful background sits thec ollages created for the StrangeGoods and Stash World collaboration. The vintage inspired kitschmas collection combines vintage imagery with colourful retro inspired bauble graphics.
While I had grand plans to create greeting cards to match these tags, unfortunately the tail-end of 2024 got totally consumed with my design studio rebrand (which you can see more about here). But, NEVER FEAR- I’ve got them logged in the Asana board and you’ll hopefully see them live next Christmas.
